I have been busy this week. I worked on a new pendant and really like the way it turned out. I made some earrings to match the Diamonds pendant from last week and I tried a new technique....weaving.

The triangle pendant is fairly small. Only about an inch and a quarter. It features a 5mm black onyx. The back plate is hand textured with a hammer and I have applied some LOS to the backplate only to give it a little more depth.


The next picture is of the earrings that I worked on. I really like thiese. They are a tad long, about 2 1/2 inches, but are really pretty. I hand made the ear wires as well.



This is the woven peace. It is the first time I have ever tried anything like this. It took a little over 2 hours to get weaving done. I may try some of this again if I receive some good feedback on it. I have 3 pictures, the first is without any patina on the silver. The second picture is before I removed some of the patina. And the third pictures is after removing some of the patina. I am not sure which I like best. Let me know what you think.
