Purple Swirl Necklace

This necklace took me 6 hours to make and a TON of silver. I even got a blister and I haven't done that in a very long time.

I haven't hand made a full necklace in such a long time so I figured I would do it. This one took around 6 hours total, like I said. I had gone to an art festival about a month or so ago and found the three lampwork beads. I had no idea what to do with them. Friday I pulled them out, determined to do something with them, I made the bail for the larger bead and then the rest of the necklace made itself from there Saturday. I had no idea where I was going with it when I started. Nor did I ever imagine that I would come up with a necklace like this, but here it is.

I wore it today at church and got TONS of comments on it. It has a lot of really good weight to it and hangs beautifully. Of course, everything is completely hand made by me, with the exception of the beads.
