A new leaf - Part four

Well, I am not super keen on how this one turned out. Once it is returned to me I will do a little more work on it, and it will probably change drastically. However for now it is done and handed in.

I even tried my hand at a couple of rings. The little knot one is a lot of fun, but DANG it is hard to make.

      Hey Vicki,

Thanks so much for the kind compliments. I really appreciate getting any type of feedback I can. I have really been enjoying my classes and I am finding that I really do have some talent in this area, which certainly helps things along a little.

I have to say that seeing other's works also gives me a lot of incentive to continue to practice as well. I am glad that I can give someone else that incentive.

      Thanks again,

      Melissa

Will you be selling these after your class? I am really interested in that third piece (the copper viney one), though I don't know if it would be within my price range...I'd certainly be interested, however, if you're planning to sell it.

      Hi Kelsi,

I like the name a lot!

I am not sure what I will be doing with these after the class is done. I think I will seriously consider the sale of the items as I can only wear so much jewelry. I am very flattered that you like it so much that you would consider purchasing it. Please keep in touch with me on it. I should have the pieces back in December. Right now they are on display in the school.

    Melissa,
Have I told you how much I love your work? You really are very talented and I greatly enjoy viewing your work. I have to tell you that your new leaf series of works is just awesome. I enjoyed seeing one and two on the YOJ site, but I'm so glad that I came to your blog or I would have missed new leaves 3 and 4. They are FANTASTIC! I adore them. Especially number three ... and I think this bails suits it well. It gives it a 'rustic' look that I just love. As always, excellent work ... and more of me gushing about your excellent work.

      Hey Delia,

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your comments. I have been really bad about getting over to the YOJ and CWJ forums. I have just bitten off more than I can chew at this point and time. I am hoping things calm down for a little bit. But I guess you never can tell. I am glad you like my work, because I am absolutely in love with yours and have been for a long time.
