New pieces

Everyone has loved my signature piece. I have had quite a few people tell me that I should make more. I only had one stone that was like the one below and haven't ever really found any others. Last night I really wanted to be productive and made four pendants, with a fifth still in the process, just to show myself that I can still actually make jewelry. Since starting school, it seems I am not getting a lot done these days.

And here are the new pieces. I still like the original, but it is quite a bit larger. I will play with the design of some of the others some more until I get a feel of what I really like. The first two are Red Sardonyx. The third is black onyx and the last one (lower right) is Carnelian.  These are actually much smaller than the original. They are only 1" from top to bottom and side to side. The stones are 6mm, the one above is 8 or 10 if I recall correctly.

I'm so glad you are making more of these pieces!! The original remains my top favorite too...the wire curves are perfect in it, and the bezel is perfect too. The last one is also close enough. I know you said you were having a tough time remaking this piece. But I'm glad you are making many of these because it is a WONDERFUL design...everyone loves it.

And since we hardly seem to catch each other on YM...and I guess it'll remain like that at least till your classes are on, your blog seems to be the best place to leave you messages. and to keep in touch .

Are you making enough to fill your inventory for the craft show?
